Localization
In recent times, GCC has been witness to a wave of localization programs in pursuit of achieving a self-sufficient economy mainly due to ever depleting oil resources and massive fluctuations in oil prices. GCC countries have introduced several programs, amended laws, and devised different strategies in pursuit of achieving self-sufficiency. These programs range from workforce nationalization, in-country value added programs, training and capacity building programs for the local population, and creation of local supply chains and enterprises.
At SCHLÜTER GRAF we offer solutions to businesses which are struggling to keep pace with ever-evolving localization laws by regularly advising our clients on complying with the localization programs (e.g. ADNOC's ICV, Saudi Aramco's IKTVA's, Tawazun Economic Program, Electrical Tarif Incentive Program (ETIP) etc.). We assist clients in identifying their exposure to localization programs and measures they can take to increase their respective localization score. We ensure that our clients’ business growth is not affected while they stay compliant with the localization laws of the respective country.
